Aim

The Research Fellowship grant aims to provide outstanding neuroscientists, who should have the potential to become leaders in their chosen field, with the opportunity to conduct a significant research project.

Areas covered

The Fellowship is open to all applicants working in the clinical neurosciences in Ireland and is not disease specific.

Eligibility – who should apply?

• Applicants will be at an early to mid-stage of their career, and should be at minimum Registrar grade or equivalent.
• Only one application per investigator is permitted
• Applicants must be the Principal Investigator (PI).
• Must be supported by an existing IICN Member

Duration, scope snd value of funding 

• Funding is provided for a one year Fellowship to support the salary of the investigator.|
• Provides funding to cover the research fellow's salary costs to a maximum of €50,000.

Proposed Start Date

The successful applicant may begin their Fellowship from January – August 2011.
