Applications invited for Clinical Research Fellow position in Neurogenetics

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, driven trainee neurologist to gain specialist experience in Neurogenetics and Neurodegeneration and obtain a higher research degree in the Department of Molecular Neuroscience, UCL Institute of Neurology.

The Institute of Neurology has one of the world’s largest series of patients and families with inherited neurological disorders. The post is part of an MRC funded award to use the latest state-of-the-art DNA array and next generation sequencing techniques to investigate the pathophysiology and genetics of inherited cerebellar ataxia.

Position

The post is for 3 years and the successful applicant will be committed to high quality research and intend to pursue training for a higher degree (PhD or MD). The starting date for the project is July 2011 and the post is offered for 30 - 36 months in the first instance.
